Tyann Porepp joined the UIRF in 2010 as the Intellectual Property Manager.  Tyann has extensive experience in managing complex patent portfolios, and she is a key member of UIRF. She is responsible for docketing and prioritizing patent deadlines as well as building and managing patent budgets. Tyann develops and maintains collaborative relationships with patent counsel, licensees, and researchers. She manages the invention disclosure process and oversees federal reporting compliance. Prior to joining the UIRF, she worked at an IP law firm where she assisted in patent and trademark prosecution and copyright registrations. Tyann holds a BS in Human Resources Management from Upper Iowa University and an MS in Organizational Leadership from Grand View University.
